Suzanne Lucas

Meet Suzanne Lucas, a Brooklyn-born jazz vocalist and guitarist who captivates audiences with her ability to transform every song into a unique masterpiece. With soulful phrasing and heartfelt interpretation, she weaves jazz, blues, and folk influences into performances that are both intimate and unforgettable.

Now based in Sarasota, FL, Suzanne has been a featured artist on WUSF Radio-Tampa,  the Sarasota Jazz Club’s Marina Jack Jazz Cruise, The Ringling Museum of Art, and the Sarasota Wine Festival. Beyond Florida, Suzanne has brought her artistry to the Virginia Beach Vocal Jazz Summit and to New York City stages including opening for “Roots” in Cenrral Park, Arthur’s, The Palladium, The Duplex, Brandy’s, and The Milk Bar and more. She performs in settings ranging from private  events, communities, country clubs,  and charity events,  to beloved local venues such as The Floridian Social and Fogartyville, The Grill @ 1951, and other local establishments. 

Equally at home fronting ensembles or performing as a soloist with her guitar, Suzanne’s performances invite listeners into a world where every song tells a story, rich with nuance, honesty, and joy.
